Helping families find safe, affordable, and supportive care for their children.
At Bright Star Support Services, we know how important quality childcare is—for a child’s development and a family’s stability. That’s why we work hand-in-hand with families to help them find trusted, affordable childcare options in their community.
We don’t provide childcare directly, but we make the process easier by helping families:
Understand their options (licensed centers, in-home care, Head Start programs, etc.)
Navigate Maryland’s Child Care Scholarship Program
Fill out applications and gather documentation
Identify openings at local providers
Connect with early learning programs that meet their child’s needs
Our goal is to take the stress out of the search, so families can feel confident knowing their children are in good hands.
When children are nurtured in safe, enriching environments, they grow, learn, and thrive. And when parents can access reliable care, they’re better able to work, study, or get back on their feet. Childcare is more than supervision—it’s a lifeline.
Applying for childcare scholarships or subsidies
Finding programs that accept state vouchers
Locating programs with openings for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers
Accessing inclusive care for children with special needs
Referring families to providers with extended hours or transportation support
Fill out our Family Support Request Form. One of our team members will follow up with you to walk through your next steps and connect you with the right resources.
